Martin County VINE Coverage
Florida participates in VINE through VINELink. State materials describe coverage that can include Florida county jails, FDC, and DJJ, while the live service warns that a facility can be nonparticipating or temporarily offline. No current MCSO page expressly promising VINE coverage was found. For that reason, confirm that the live matching record names Martin County Jail, FDC, or the intended custodian instead of assuming the county appears in every search.
VINE serves two connected roles. It can show a participating person record with custody status, location, and available events. It can also accept registrations for offered changes, including release or transfer when the agency feed supplies them. The service is most useful before an expected event because a registration can watch for a future change. For historical proof, the sheriff’s booking/release record or FDC correctional history is stronger.
Search Martin County VINE Records
Begin at the official service and narrow to one person. A common name can return several records from different agencies or custody periods. The correct match depends on identity details, the reporting custodian, and the event, not just the spelling of the name.

- Choose the people or offender search and enter the person’s name or available identifier.
- Narrow the results with agency, location, and identity details offered by the live interface.
- Open the matching record and verify that it names Martin County Jail, FDC, or the actual custodian sought.
- Record the exact custody status, location, and event date. Do not substitute a guess for a missing field.
- If the record is absent or unclear, contact the last known custodian and use its own records system.
The same person may have a county booking and a later FDC record. These are separate custody terms. A Martin County case name does not prove that MCSO is still the custodian, and a county booking number is not the same as FDC’s six-character DC number.

A released label answers what VINE received, not every legal or physical detail. It may not show the release reason or the precise jail-door time. A transfer event can mean the person remains confined elsewhere. Confirm the event with the named agency and request its release record if documentary proof is needed.
Note: VINE can show recently released people, but it promises no fixed period for keeping a released result searchable.
Register Martin County Release Alerts
Registration must be attached to the exact person record and an event the live service offers. Search first, confirm the agency, and then select the alert. A general account or contact entry does not replace selecting the correct record.
- Open the confirmed person record and select Notify Me of Status Change.
- Choose the offered event or events, including release or custody change when available.
- Select phone, text, email, or in-app delivery from the channels shown.
- For a phone alert, enter a direct-dial number and choose a four-digit PIN. If none is chosen, Florida’s form defaults to the last four digits of that phone number.
- Register each phone number separately. The same PIN may be used, but each number needs its own registration.
- Save the registration and keep enough detail to identify the record when an alert arrives.
A switchboard or announcement service may fail because an automated VINE call needs to reach the registered person and accept PIN entry. Email and text alerts do not repeat under the Florida materials reviewed. Choose contact methods that can be checked directly and keep them current.
Martin County VINE PIN Calls
The PIN is part of the telephone acknowledgment process. When the automated call arrives, enter the four-digit PIN to acknowledge the message and stop repeat calls. The current operator flyer says unanswered calls continue for at least 24 hours or until acknowledgment. This repeat rule does not apply to email and text in the same way.
Do not assume an unanswered call means the event did not occur. Check voicemail, text, email, and the live record, then contact the named custodian. Direct registration in VINE is also separate from FDC Victim Services. Updating one system does not add or update a registration in the other.

The form supports using a direct number, keeping the PIN available, and acknowledging the call promptly.
Note: Each phone number needs its own registration, even when the same four-digit PIN is used for more than one number.
Review Martin County VINE Registrations
VINELink’s Look Up Registrations route checks registrations tied to the contact information entered. Supply the registered phone number or email, request the six-digit verification code, and enter the code within 30 minutes. The result shows linked registrations for that contact route.
This code confirms access to the contact channel. It is not proof of the incarcerated person’s identity and does not alter the underlying custody record. If the wrong person or agency was selected, remove or correct that registration and repeat the person search before adding the right one.

Martin County Registry Is Separate
The FDLE Sex Offender and Predator Search is a separate, offense-limited registry. It is not VINE and it is not a general list of Martin County releases. A search can be narrowed to Martin County and to the legal status “Released - Subject to Registration” for people within that registry’s scope.
FDLE defines that status in terms of no longer being under confinement or supervision while registration duties continue. The result may include identity, designation, legal status, photo, addresses, aliases, marks, source dates, and qualifying case facts. It does not supply the release-event date. Most people released from custody will not appear because the registry only covers its statutory population.

Use it only for its defined registry question, then return to the jail or FDC record for the actual custody departure.
Note: An empty registry search is normal for people outside the registry and says nothing about their jail release.
Confirm Martin County VINE Alerts
VINE does not guarantee every facility, historical record, release reason, precise timestamp, or supervision event. Data can lag. An agency can be offline, and the public wording can change. The service also is not the BOP inmate locator and should not be used as the federal release source.

On a reported release, write down the exact status, event date, agency, and record identifier. Then call or search that agency. The MCSO jail search bridge leads to the county’s Tyler detail, which can carry Release date/time for a named booking. The FDC Inmate Releases database can preserve Release Date and Date Out-Custody for a state correctional term. Neither system should be used for the other population.
Timing also differs by system. FDC says its Inmate Releases database updates nightly, while the state population database receives nightly release-date and location updates within a broader refresh cycle. MCSO publishes no comparable Tyler release-update cadence. VINE may receive an event on its own schedule. These differences explain why screens can disagree for a short time without showing which source is wrong. Preserve the time of each check, confirm with the custodian, and seek the agency record when an alert and a public profile conflict.
